Sweet! I'll tow ours for the first time in a couple weeks. Sadly, to close it up for winter, but a good opportunity for a test tow none the less.

Looking forward to a couple trips next year. Nice rig!

Towed ours home to clean up and back to campsite yesterday for winter

It did well. went up one hole from "center" before return trip, still a bit bouncy so I added a washer to hitch head for next time. Pic of setup:

Yes, 1/2 ton. Squat isn't nearly as bad as it looks - a lot of that is the driveway.

I also went up a hole on the WD from when photo was taken. Truck sat level.

A added a road master active suspension to my 1/2 ton. It made a WORLD of difference when towing and hauling. It doesn't roughen the ride and the truck doesn't lean in the curves. Best towing upgrade I have made. Takes 5 minutes to install... No, I don't work for them but I am a fan. I'm excited to see how they work with my new 32QBH after hauling an 8500 pound Four Winds for the last 2 years.

I also have the Roadmaster active suspension and in my opinion it's a much better setup that the airbags I had. Like you said, side to side sway is eliminated totally.

Air bags are WAY more installation than I want to get involved in!

I'll have to investigate. Truck handles it well, but just a little bouncy (high tongue weight I'm sure). We're haulin' her to the rally in July, which will be first "long" drive with it.

I don't know if I have been here long enough to post a link but check out active-suspension.com. On other sites, I have been able to organize a discounted group buy. I have become quite friendly with the guys at RAS. Their product does everything it claims to do and they are made in the USA!
