Help! Antenna problems
Recently got our zinger and trying to get everything set up. We lost our home in hurricane Harvey, so we'll be living in it for a while. The current problem is that apparently our antenna isn't working. We just can't seem to find any info on what might be the issue. We hooked up a cheap antennae and got some channels to come in but nothing from the built in antennae. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We're new at all of this.

Did you turn it on. Where the wire comes through the unit to hook up the TV there is a plate, On that plate is a small button press it when it lights up you will have power

Actually the button is on the plate in the bedroom and not in the living area. The TV we're trying to get working is in the living area, but there doesn't appear to be a button in there.

There is only one booster. Does the TV work in the bedroom? If it does that would suggest a connection between the booster in the bedroom and the LR.

Do you have the crankup antenna or the cheap Jensen round space ship looking one . Either way ,you may need to take wall plates off and chech crimp connections.

Haven't tried putting a TV in the bedroom yet.

Space ship looking one. Ok, we'll do that.

With the booster on, did you go the tv settings menu & scan the channels? This has to be done every time you move the rv.
We were in Missouri City prior to the hurricane & with our crank up antenna got 40+ channels, granted half of those were foreign language or religious channels.

There is also a connection on the roof . If I remember ...you have to unscrew the top of the antenna to see it. You do not haave to take and sealant off.

Yes, we did. Didn't pick up even 1 channel. Picked up quite few (although not real clearly) with the cheap rabbit ears hooked up.

Yes, we did scan for channels. Got nothing. Picked up several (although not very clearly) with the cheap rabbit ears.
