I love my Zinger so much that I spent the whole day on the roof! This weekend I'm leaving on a month long two state trip with 3 stops for trout fishing, so it was time to do a bit of sprucing up! Having parked my camper near a 100 year old oak tree, the gutters and down spouts were completely stopped up with those nasty long stringy things (I think they're called catkins) that oak trees are known for in the spring. I got the ladder and garden hose out and cleared them all away when a gust of wind came up and blew the ladder down. If I was 10 or 12 I may have simply jumped off the roof... but at this point in my life the odds were against me. So there I was, trapped on the roof of my beloved TT with no way to get help, and of course my cell phone was in the house. After about 5 hours of sheer boredom (and a very clean roof to pass the time) thank goodness the FedEx guy came to deliver a package. I called out to him for help and had to listen to him laugh as he reset the ladder. I offered him a dollar and quarter if he would just keep it to himself but of course he declined. The next time I crawl up on my roof I'll secure the ladder, carry my cell phone, and perhaps pack a sack lunch just in case I'm there for awhile. Happy camping everyone!
