I have the 2014 Zinger 32QB travel trailer and it came with a Jensen AWM965 stereo system. For the life of me I can't get the iPod touch to work with the unit. I plug the iPod touch directly into the USB connector on front of the Jensen and then the Jensen screen states USB load. When I play music on the iPod touch the sound only comes through the iPod, not the Jensen connected speakers. Radio on the Jensen works fine.

Any thoughts? Any one have a similar issue. I tried two different iPod touches. I think one is the version 3 (w/o camera) and one is the version 4 (w camera). Thanks in advance!

Haven't tried it on this trailer but on our previous unit we needed to use the connection from the headphone output on the ipod to the Jensen head unit with just a 1/8 stereo male to male connector. I'll see if it works on this unit tonight if I have a chance with my iPhone.

Edit: Just tried it and it works on Aux 2 with the 1/8 plug from headphone jack into front of the unit 1/8 A/V jack. We have the AWM965 as well. Hope this helps.

Have same radio in Sunset Trail. Reception is nada. Dealer replaced it with new unit and still poor performance. AM does not receive at all. Rv has Jensen omni directional ant. Does anyone know if it is radio, ant.

Front USB is for charging and flashdrive playback only, you have to use the headphone jack for other device playback.

Seems like the AWM965 Jensen is causing a lot of problems.
The issue with mine was.......the cables weren't hooked up.
Take a look at SKING's comments. They are totally correct !
The Jensen Omni antenna serves as radio/air antenna.....
There is a switch near the tv with air/cable/off/air. The setting for radio
must be in either air/cable or air
Hope this helps.

We have Sony Walkman MP3 players, and the USB adapter worked in the Jensen. We can use the radio buttons to navigate folders, etc. I haven't checked model, but we have a 2014 32QB so I expect it to be the same one.

I would suggest headphone adapter as stated if USB doesn't work.

Replaced the unit

Well I replaced the Jensen 965 with the next higher model. Now it has iPod cable and weather band. Mainly swapped it for weather band but daughters like the iPod cable. Still have the almost new Jensen 965 and would be willing to give someone a really good deal.
