Hello,

My husband and I just purchased our first travel trailer (2012 Zinger 19rd) this past Monday. We are so excited for our first trip and hope that we have many years of fun and luck with our new camper. We searched for some time for a rear living floor plan that wasn't too large and just loved the Zinger 19. It seems to be well built compared to some trailers we viewed and reasonably priced but we don't personally know anyone who has owned one. We have moved up from a pop-up and are eager to begin new adventures with the new Zinger. Our camper is still at the dealer due to a few items being replaced before we roll off the lot (few nicks and dents in a panel and exterior door, that will be replaced). Hopefully within a week or two it will be ready to roll.

We are also looking forward to learning as much as possible from this forum and would appreciate any advice or information from everyone out there.

Cher

Congrats on the new Zinger and welcome to the forums. Bring a video camera to your PDI when you pick up the TT and have one of you videotape it while the other one actually performs each thing the dealer shows you. Have them show you how to use every system (not just tell you). Return the demonstration. This includes the water heater and how to winterize/dewinterize, putting the awning out, using your tanks (filling/emptying etc), AC/Heat, fuse panel etc

Congrats! Yours is probably very much like our 27BHSE. I am sure you will love it.

Ditto to Anaro's comments on PDI. We didn't have any issues and it wasn't my first rodeo, but asked questions and noted things anyway. Happy Camping!

Did you get a spare tire? It appears that most don't come with them anymore. Our Zinger didn't. If you can't talk them into giving you one, it should be one of the first things you add.

If you get a chance, could you post some pictures? I'm curious what changes they made since our 2010.

I think you will find this site very helpful. I know I do and this is our 4th trailer.
