Problems with ac breaker

We're in hot St. Lois and the ac circuit breaker keeps tripping. It's a 20 amp breaker and I'm set up with a 50 amp service from the rv park. Is my breaker bad? Or should I replace the 20 amp with a 30 amp?

on some units the same breaker works the hot water heater turn your hot water heater on gas and see what happens

I wouldn't put a 30 in there..

I would get another single 20amp breaker and try it.. The are only $15 from home depot.

Ac runs about 12 amps. I doubt the electric hot water heater is on the same breaker. That would be 26 amps (atleast) My AC on and my hot water heater, I am tapped at 26 amps. (would need a 30 amp breaker) to support both. It they put them on the same breaker, Shame on them.

Is your camper 50amp or 30amp service. You are not going to get any more power from a 50 amp if your cord is 30amp. Is your breaker that is tripping a double breaker? e really need more info. to help.

If your main and AC breakers are a double [both together], get another breaker for the Ac and move the wiring to the new breaker.
The ambient heat from one will cause the other to trip, as mine did.

If the breaker was tripped often the spring starts to weaken and can trip more easily. If you have the room change to 2 separate breakers. Do NOT change the value.

I had the same situation on my previous camper. Just replacing the breaker with a new 20 amp breaker did the trick.

It seemed like the old breaker just became weak and would trip more easily over time.

And home depot is where I had to go to find the replacement.
