The plastic roof vents on my 2007 32QB have, over time, become brittle and cracked. Can the covers be easily replaced? If so, what information would I need to buy replacement vents? Is it something I can do myself?

This is my first post and would appreciate any advice to fix this issue.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, the covers can be easily replaced. There are different types of hinge configurations and there may be different sizes as well. Measure yours and take a good look at the hinge type and you should be able to get a replacement at any RV parts dealer.

If you have a cell phone with a camera, take some pictures of the vent cover and the hinges so you can show it to the dealer.

I replaced the vent in the bedroom with a maxxair vent/fan. I got the one with the remote so i can open and close the vent and change the fan speed without getting out of bed. It also has a thermostat feature that will activate it at a set temp. Just another option to throw out to you.

Be careful trying to walk on the roof. You should only have 1/4" plywood.
