I have a 2008 26ft rear living Zinger with a Atwood model 4-e or 10-e water heater. My question is where is the sacrificial anode? The operations manual does not indicate one. Whats up?

If it is an Atwood unit with an aluminum tank you don't have one.

You don't ever want to put one in either.

Hope the drain plug is easier to get to on the 10 gal.
The 6 Gal. is a #$%^ to get out, and water drains all over spark electrical.

15/16" socket, short extension, and ratchet, works for me...

X2 on that, mine is just a plastic plug, thinking of getting a brass plug with a petcock to make it a bit more controllable. Water does go everywhere when the plug fall out. Usually speckles you glasses. LOL

I prefer to stay with the plastic plug for two reasons... Not sure how the brass would react with the aluminum, and if it ain't broke don't fix it...

brass petcock works great, makes it easy to drain tank occasionally. As long as you use teflon tape or pipe dope it does not affect the fitting.

I too will keep the plastic one.
I suppose it is my own fault - been too lazy to buy the large socket and leave it in the camper!

Good to know, I suppose the brass could cause some dissimilar metal corrosion without treatment of tape or dope. Since I'm the second owner of my Cruiser I just figured the first owner had lost the original plug and replaced it with plastic.
