I noticed my was sagging a few weeks back also. At first I was not sure what it was as I had already emptied the fresh task. I thought it had a leak and I had water trapped in the underliner. AsI checked it more closelyI found the same thing you guys did, that it was the tanks itself. So I opened the drian valve again and nothing. I am just wondering how you guys plan on removing the underliner? Is it screwedon or rivets? I did not look close enough and it is not parked at my house but out at my campsite so I cannot go look at it.

The liner is held up with metal strips and screws that are screwed into the frame at the perimeter on the membrane. It is pretty easy to take down, but a second person would be helpful when putting it back up (in order to get it tight).

I think I would have left the straps on and just placed the reinforcements directly over them, or if you wanted to remove them, then you need quite a bit heavier support pieces.
Your angle iron isn't heavy enough to do the job.

The existinggalvanizedstraps were very very thin, probably 16gauge. No rigidity at all.

The angle iron, although not heavy enough, is certainly more rigid than the straps were. Will most likely pull the angle iron off and just put the straps back on as I don't see much of a difference.

I only have maybe 1/4 of a tank when traveling and only fill up when we arrive.

It's not so much the straps or your angle iron. The tank itself is very flimsy, more like a bladder. It simply needs something stronger to set on.........like 3/4" plywood. It appears your tank is located at the rear of your trailer, dropping the membrane to expose the tank is not that bad if you just drop enough to expose the tank.

Problem is the tank is directly above the axles. No room to work

Dear ewbldavis

To

determine if your rain gutters sag, check for signs of standing water

or water marks along the inner sides of the gutters. With a level,

check the slope—gutters should drop about 1/4 inch for every 10 feet of

run toward the downspouts.
</span>

To resolve , you may need to replace the hangers or, at the very least</span>,

reseat them. If the gutters are held by spike-and-ferrule hangers, use

a hammer to drive the long spike, making sure it goes into solid wood.

If it does not grab securely, you may need to replace it with an even

longer galvanized nail or a long screw.
</span>

thanks
