Ordering a new Zinger 28BH, not sure if i should put the skylight in the living area or not, know that it will give better lighting but just something about cutting another hole in the roof and chances of leakage. Any comments would be great oropinions. Anyone out there have a 28bhs and have you found any likes or dislikes on this unit. Would you go for it or no. Thanks.
My opinion is the least amount of holes cut in the roof on an RV the less chance for leaks down the road. We do not even want a skylight over the shower on our next unit.

No, but I am super anal about maintenance on everything we own and our trailer is also stored inside a enclosed garage. As long as you stay on top of the caulking you should not have a problem. Down here in the South a skylight is nothing but a heat source during the Summer.

We have a skylite in our kitchen/living area. Had I known it was going to be an over-sized opening I would have requested a standard 14x14 vent so I could have installed a fantastic fan. Live and learn. Assumed it would have been the same as our 2007 unit which had a fantastic fan in that location.

What is a fantastic fan? What year is your RV and model, you are suggesting that it is larger in the kitchen area, what size? As far as the extra heat i am in eastern canada, we welcome the heat. LoL.
We almost ordered a Zinger. The skylight is really nice, it adds a lot of natural light. On that same note, Crossroads doesn't offer a shade nor will they sell you one (even though the ones for the slide end windows would fit nicely).
Best of luck.
