The slide out on our ZT26RL10 won't go out without rocking the toggle switch (pushing the switch to thein and out positions)more than a couple of times. We were told that the seals might be sticking, so we purchased some seal lubricant and applied liberal doses over a couple of days. We closed the slide out (which has no problem what-so-ever) and then tried to open again. It still took two times rocking the switch to get it to come out. We did notice that if we did not close the slide out all the way, it would go right out again.

Why would the slide out be having such problems and what if anything have any of you done about it?

Thanks for your help!

Sonny, here's a link dedicated to this entire type of problem. Yours could be a similar issue.

Thanks for the link. It tells me quite a bit, but I guess I'm going to have to take the trailer back to the dealer (40+ miles away one-way) to have the problem (maybe) repaired. Will let you know what happens.

I just had mine in the factory service department for its yearly inspection. I mentioned to Randy that I had one slide that occasionally did what you are describing. What they found was that there was a voltage drop between the switch and the slide motor, 13v to 9v. They did some reconnection work at the switch and everything is working fine. You may have them check that also, or have them give Randy a call.
