I just bought a new Zinger ZE ZT19RDS. I tow it with a Nissan Xterra. The trailer is 8 feet wide and my Xterra is 5'2" wide. Any suggestions for what tow mirrors I should use?
Welcome to the Crossroads forum. We use a set of CIPA slip on mirrors on our F150. They do the fit well and I am pleased with them. I bought them on ebay for $55.
I know the cipa slip on mirrors don't fit my armada. I bought these from a local auto parts store but camping world and many RV parts places have them.
If you really want to see behind the trailer then McKesh mirrors are a great option. Universal fit, put on and take off in seconds after the initial set up. Some vehicles have a problem with vibration but they were fine on my F150.
I tried the CIPA mirrors but could never see behind the trailer. Now that I have upgraded to the F250 I no longer need them. I highly recommend them.
Now that I've made the recommendation my old ones are no longer being used and i can easily be persuaded to part with them for a fraction of the cost of new ones. Includes the convex mirrors. But I didn't post to make a sale.
