Trailer Running Lights

New to towing. GMC Sierra has automatic driving lights, should the trailerís running lights come with the trucks drl, or just when the head lights go on.

When only the DRLs are on, the trailer's running lights will not come on. They come on only when the truck's taillights are illuminated.
