Zinger 28BHS slide question

I am looking for information on the slide out. When it is slid in and the motor stops, the top is tight, but the bottom has about an inch gap on the bottom on both sides.

It seems like the bottom should slide in just a bit more, but it doesn't.

Any advice?

Does it compress the bulb seal? Does it leak water? If it seals and doesn't leak, I would leave it alone. If not sealing then it can be adjusted a bit but I have never done that and am not sure how hard it is to do. Post your year of rig and hopefully someone with the same model will help.
