12V power failure

Lost power to the slide-out also to the electrical panel that has the battery, fresh water, grey water etc status. Checked fuses all seems good, have not run into any thing else that is not working. Before I start on this I thought it would be best to ask if anyone else has had a similar problem. Thanks for reading.

Hello dcutter,

Had similar issue on my new z-1. Be sure to check your electrical connection at the front of camper at junction box behind the battery.

I had a ground wire come loose during travel that cut power to several functions including the slide. It was an easy fix as the crimp in wiring wasn't a secure as it should have been. Just re connected everything with better crimp and secured all wiring with electrical tape and zip tie.

Hope that is all you have wrong as well?

Also, if you can.
Put a charger on the battery and see if that provides the power.

In the past I lost conductivity when a battery cell went bad.

Checked the wiring up front on the tongue. Grounds were good buttttttt. There are two heavy duty connectors on the hot side. I am assuming (yes this is dangerous) but I am assuming these are heavy duty fuses. One showed good <!--if gte mso 9>

continuity, however the second one did not. Jumped across it and everything is running again. Have now checked it and the leads are not making a good connection. Looks like an easy fix. Thanks for the comments.

Have now removed the old fuse for the "slideout". It is a 30 amp auto reset type & the studs are so badly rusted that they and loosing contact so I will replace with a new one. I am planning to coat the studs with liberal dose of dielectric greese. I would like to do the same with the second fuse but have been unable locate a schematic with the amp rating for it. Does anyone out there know the answer to this? Are they both 30 amp?
