Does anyone that has the new roof material know if it is suppose to be glued down or is it floating except around the edges?

Our last trailer had tpo roof, and the edges were not stuck down. The center part was all glued.
Not sure if you are asking about tpo, or rubber roof.

Peter, not to get off the OP subject but how did your TPO roof hold up? Any issues with it? I ask because a couple of the new units we are looking at come with TPO roofs if you get full body paint which we would like to do on our next one.

We only had it for less than a year. The tpo on the slide roof was felt backed, and sucked up water like a sponge. It was rotted thru in 8 months. The main roof was not felt backed, as was fine, although it does not lay down as nice as rubber at the corners. The water was always pooled on the roof due to the edges rising up.
Really can't give you info on the durability.
Personal preference is rubber, but I guess time will tell.
The tpo was advertised as being 80lbs lighter. Trailer was 34.5' long.
Hope this helps.
