Here in Texas it takes a long time to cool the trailer in 95 to 100 dec. weather and keep it cool.
We have a Sunset Trail 27 RL.
Installed the A/C in the bedroom.
Run an extention cord from the plug that is in the storage that is in the front of the rv.
When we get to the Factory Rally will go shopping for a door like on the main cord so I can come out of that instead of leaving the storage door open.
Let me tell this really works GREAT,,,,
We camped this weekend and stayed 5 days and it was 98 to 100+ every day.
What we did was in the morning turn the A/C in the bedroom on and at night shut if off.
You could relax in the trailer during the day and early evening without the noise from the main unit. The A/C in the bedroom kept the trailer cool most of the day except in the late afternoon when the sun was so hot. Then the main A/C would come on for a short time and I mean only for a short time.
We are really happy with this set up.
