Picking up a ST Reserve 30RE this week. Plan on pulling with a 2010 Dodge Ram QC Hemi with 3:92 RE. Trailer tonge weight is 700lbs. Anyone hauling a similar unit with a Dodge having TV level problems? if so, did air bags help?

I have a similar issue. You can see my full post here -http://forums.crossroadsrv.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=6948&title=looking-at-buying-sunset-trail-reserve-st28bh

For now we are thinking of going with the Timbren solution.

I have looked at the Firestone air spring suspension kit. It looks like it would really do the job but it is a bit more pricey and more difficult to install and manage. (from my understanding so far)

You can see a slight sag in my sig now, this is with a popup loaded. I think there should be more distance in the ball height though, but it works.

I put airbags on my Ram and it was pretty easy it took about 2 hours from start to finish. I didn't get the onboard compressor though, but they do a great job.I think the best price I found was Auto Anything http://www.autoanything.com/suspension-systems/75A4899A0A0.aspx They usually offer 15% off with free shipping

Installed bags on 2012 dodge ram, air lift 1000's. They work very well and are very easy to install with the coil springs. I just put 25lbs in them when towing and knock them back to 8 when not towing.Did not put an onboard compressor on mine either. I did however buy a little 12 volt compressor that plugs into the power point just in case, but have never even taken it out of the box as I've never had a leak in the year I've had them. I still check pressure in them when I domy tire checks monthly.
