When we bought our 2015 32RL last year a couple techs came out while we were doing our walk thru and went up on the roof and was doing something, after and about a half hour when they came down i ask them what they were doing they said that they had a report that someone had lost a antenna on the road so they were checking the bolts on all there trailers they had and resealing them mine was good, I have always had good service with our dealer here so it may be a good idea to take a look or ask during a walk thru to have them look at that.
We just purchased the SF33RL 5th and can see an antenna up there, but cannot for the life of us find any wind up thingy in the trailer. We had better luck with HD antenna channels than free cable in any of the CG we've stayed in lately in our prior Keystone Laredo Trailer.
I've done a google search and I find pages and pages of rigs for sale. Our instruction manual is generic and does not detail out what we have. The dealer said that its there and it works and you never have to raise it or direction it.
If the dealer is correct, it must be an omni directional, and it won't need to be raised or lowered.
If you put the make, year, and model of your RV in your sig. we all would know at a glance what you have for an RV, and it would be easier to help.
