Battery Charging

Does the battery charge when the camper is on shore power such plugged up to the a 30 amp circuit or plugged in a 120V outlet? I got my camper out of storage today and the battery was dragging. I'm assuming the 250RB has an inverter to charge the battery. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes it does. Do you disconnect the battery when storing. You should either disconnect the battery or do what a lot of us do and add a disconnect switch so you can disconnect the power from the battery without having to unhook one side of the battery when storing. Also make sure your battery is topped off with water and charged before storing.

Well, the main issue was that the radio inside was left on inadvertently and drained the battery basically. When we store it at our local indoor storage area they put a trickle charger on the battery. So, the battery must have drained before they were able to attached the trickle charge. I got the camper home and plugged it up to shore power so I could get the refrigerators cooling down and the inverter was working hard charging the battery. I will test the battery this evening to make sure it's not completely dead. If so, I'll just replace it.

We had issues with light left on. We then just had it kill our batteries due to random system loads. After I installed a battery switch as indicated above, never had issues. Easy 2 hour project for $25 and makes your life much easier.

Back up camera

I took notice that my back up camera remains on at all times if the battery is connected. I thought there was a switch somewhere to turn it off, but I have not found it. I have disconnect the battery in order to turn it off.

If you have the battery auxiliary lead connected to fuse block, it should be charging.

On my previous vehicle, 2002 TrailBlazer, I had to take a fuse that was stored in the fuse box lid in the engine compartment and install it in the slot in order to power the auxiliary power post in the trailer connector. On my 2013 Silverado, the fuse was already in place.
