bedroom light switch
Has anyone tried to install a wall switch for bedroom lite over bed. I have tried to run a fish tape in ceiling but seems almost impossible with the insulation in ceiling. You would have thought they would have installed one at factory since they have one in bathroom. Has anyone any other ideas. Appreciate any input. Thanks
I have a sunset trail 30 rk

I don't know how far away from the ceiling light you would like to have the switch. You might consider running the wire on the outside and covering it with one of those outfits that they use to hide the actual wire from view. I can't remember what it's called, but there such a thing that they use for that.
I think there is a wireless switch also.
Let us know what you end up doing.

It's called wire mold, I was trying to stay away from doing that. Saw a post a long time ago but didn't go into much detail, made it sound to easy. thanks for input.

Wireless switch would be my choice. Not sure where to purchase them. Anyone have info on where to buy them?

Amazon has a bunch to choose from most of them have a remote that could be attached to wall with a little Velcro.

I just put a single light on either side of the bed room light on the same bulkhead and right over each wardrobe closet door. tapped into the existing light for power , Now I can turn on light easily instead of leaning over the bed. Plus I can see into the closet better.

Are you talking about the lite on the ceiling or the one right above the head of the bed?

I think he's talking about the light right above the head of the bed. The actual ceiling light almost always has a wall switch.

That is why I suggest to do as I did and add a light to the right and left of the light that you can not reach...easily lets you turn a light on and you can actually see into your closets too...

What I don't understand is why they never installed a light switch in the bedroom (for either light) yet they put one in the bathroom, whose size is small enough to turn on the overhead light as soon as you walk in.....
Please post with your solution, as I'd like one too.

With all the problems I've had with my trailer, they were't smart enough to think that far ahead.

I think I saw a switch on the right side near the window on the 14's or 15's. Maybe someone caught on...

I need to do this because I can't see anything in my closets. I had a 13 with a wall switch and my 14 has one as well.

Those LED tap lights would be good for that.

Bedroom Light switch
The 2016's have a switch but it's on the opposite side of the bathroom door. You have to go along the foot of the bed to reach it. It's there, but poor location.
