Boondocking/poor water pressure

Hello, I own a 2012 Sunset Trail Reserver 30RE. Purchased it new from RV dealer in January 2014. When hooked up to city water supply I have no problems with sufficient water supply through the lines. The problem I have is when boondocking for a weekend and rely on my internal water tank and pump. The water flow is far less. It is barely enough to wash your hands. Taking a shower with a trickle flow most likely won't work. Is there a place on the pump where I can somehow increase the water flow. Do I need a higher capacity pump?

1) Check you line from the pump - any kinks ? any trash in the line?
2) Check the voltage/amps @ the pump - make sure you are getting enough 'juice'
3) does the pump pressure up and stop or does it keep running when to demand for water ?
Check for air leaks @ the pump.
call your dealer for repair ... good luck

There is a pressure adjustment on some of the pumps. If you know which pump you have (hopefully it's a Shurflo) go to there web site and do some looking. I found it there for one of my pumps.
Also, if you have a filter on the bottom of the pump, that could be plugged from sucking stuff out of the tank.
Or, your pump could be shot.
Also. you could have a kinked line coming out of the tank.
Here is a link for you.

Thanks Lloyd. I took a look at the link you provided. I now know where to start looking. If it is a easy fix it sure beats having your camper tied up at the repair shop for weeks at a time. My RV place has told me that they couldn't even look at the problem until the end of July.

I have a enclosed under belly. Can this be easily removed (and then replaced) to get a look at the fresh water tank and possible kink?

That is my link , after I fixed the 'kink' it had decent pressure. But pump failed in the 3rd week of ownership. It was an Ardis.(think that is the spelling) I had it replaced with a shur-flo. Neither had adjustable pressure.
You can easily look behind the plastic bottom . find where the tank drains and unscrew a few screws and look inside with a flashlight.
