I am winterizing my camper. I have a ST 30bh. I know I turn one of the valves by the hot water heater to the vertical position, but I can't remember if I should turn both of them to the vertical position. I would appreciate your help.

Thanks, Jeannie

Not sure how your plumbing is run so can't answer horiz or vert. However, I have two valves and they both get turned 90 dgs when winterizing. One bypasses the HW heater and the other allows cold water into your hot water lines to add antifreeze. There is already a checkvalve in the HW heater so antifreeze won't go into the tank.

Put both of them in the vertical position.

Thank you! That is what I thought. I got the job done but I sure wish I didn't have to!
