Delamination revisited
Looks like my rig is suffering some delamination on the front from the warping I am noticing. I know I had a leak a while back and water got into the front storage area and under the bed, so I suspect that is the root cause. Took me a bit to figure out where the leak was and by then I guess the damage was done.
Other than being unsightly and having to make sure the seams stay caulked, is there anything else to be concerned about? The trailer is well out of warranty so no repairs that way. Has anyone had the skin and wood underneath replaced and about how much are we looking at if we decide to have that done?

I guess everyone got theirs repaired under warranty. I'm still "on the road" for another couple of days, but will probably look into having it repaired down the road if the cost is not too prohibitive. Seems to have gotten worse on this extended trip. I hope I can find a place that will do a decent job of it as well. Not too sure about the local RV shop (where I purchased it).

The obvious concern is for wood rot, interior delamination and mold, especially black mold. (from experience on a previous rv). I would not waste time in getting it repaired. ESP if the mold is present. Cost?? Have no idea. Could be expensive. Good luck.

Delamination
We are in the same boat you are with our 2014 Sunset Trail. Our camper is 16 months old and the front panel is warped and buckled out on the top and the side seam is rippled. Obviously we are out of warranty by a few months, but contacted Crossroads directly anyway to see what could be done. Our dealer told us he has ours camper and at least two more he's working on right now that have the exact same issue. Crossroads even redesigned the front cap for the 2015 models. Crossroads basically said is was our problem even though it is a recurring problem and that we had found some pictures when the camper was only a few months old that showed the start of the problem, although not noticed by us at the time. They know that this is an issue and a manufacturing defect, they have to!!! The fellow my husband talked to basically told him they don't care about keeping us as future customers and that it was our problem since it had been longer than 12 months since we purchased the camper. Terrible customer service and I will never touch another Crossroads product again!!

I haven't even contacted Crossroads because mine is a 2013 model. Also haven't talked to my local dealer about repairs either. Overall I like our camper, I just wish I had known about the potential leakage problem at the top seam which I am sure is a contributing factor to this problem. I got the leak stopped, but by then water had gotten in and I'm seeing the result now. Your dealer didn't happen to give you a cost for repair did he?

Cost
He quoted us $4,000!!! Ours has the light brown panel vs the dark brown on some Sunset Trail models...not sure what the difference is but he told us if it was the dark panel on some models it would have been around $1200?!?!

Hmmm. Not sure why the color would make a difference unless it is a different material or something. Ours has the dark panel (which is badly faded, by the way). I guess I will have to go talk to our dealer. I'm not sure he even sells CR any more. Thanks for the information though.
