Door difficult to latch

We have a new 2018 Grand Reserve with Bauer locks.

Anyone have difficulty shutting the door on their trailer?

We have the new 30 inch friction door. You have to really slam it to get it closed. The hole in the door jam seems to be all the way toward the outside, so no room to adjust it so it will latch easier. It's a pain in the butt to get the door to latch and it takes a good pull on the outside handle to get it to open. Feels like it's under tension. I'm afraid the plastic handle will break.

Can you file the opening a bit to allow latch to engage instead of pushing door.?

Is this only when your setup at the campsite or all the time...

The reason I ask..and This is going to sound odd, but I had the same issue on one of my previous trailers and it turned out I was over-cranking the stab jacks and it was ever-so-lightly putting pressure on the trailer frame, causing the door to catch. Now I know you have power stab jacks, so it is really difficult to overextend but just something to throw out there.

Put some graphite lubricant in the latch and it's working much better now.

We are having the same problem with our brand new 2017 264BH. It is in for warranty work right now. You can tell that the whole door frame is not straight and it was put on the structure like this. Grrr!
