We have a 2014 Sunset Trail 270BH Super Lite. Crossroads covered the replacement of a severely faded front. Can't really call it a cap on the Super Lites so I'll call it the front. After a few years it has faded some but worse is that it has become severely distorted and bumpy along the top. People ask if I took a sledge hammer to it. Anyone else experience this?

You might want to open it up to check for water intrusion.
I know it's a nasty thing to mention, but I have seen some front ends that look like that and that's usually the culprit.
Happens a lot with the non fiberglass cap. Water gets inside and you get all the bubbles forming on the cap. Complete removal and replacement is the only answer.
