First full day of camping

Picked up my St32RL yesterday.
Stopped half way home.
Looking at the hot water heater by pass valve now, where is it?
Would like to take a shower tonight

Susan, regardless of model, find your water heater on the outside and then determine where it is on the inside. Quite often it is located under a wardrobe or under your pantry. You will need to remove a panel which is usually 4 little screws. BTW, there are some posts on here about the water heater bypass and this one has a diagram. http://www.crossroadsowners.com/foru...t=water+heater

Good luck and happy camping.

Turned the valve on the left, I will wait and see. Not sure about tomorrow when I need to re winterize but I have a number to call. I did not think I was going to use the water but wanted to check everything out and stay an extra night!

Did you go to the dealer to pick it up? Where did you decide to camp? Glad things are working out.

Yes, we went to Ohio to pick it up and camping in West Va. Travel home on the West Va. turn pike tomorrow. If anything is going to shake loose, fall off it will on the way home.

Susan, glad to see that you went to the dealer so you could do the PDI. I hope the weather has been pleasant for you. Where do you call home? Travel safe.

Yes the PDI was very helpful! I had my flip video to record but could not get it to work. Dang, still no hot water, not sure it is filling the heater.

Susan, you look at the pics I sent. You have to turn both valves. Also, crazy question but did you put the plug back in the heater outside? Check the switch and the fuse. Good luck.

I believe you should not have electric on without water in heater. Others will comment

We have the 25 rb, the water bypass is in the compartment next to the bed on ours on the side opposite the doors. You unscrew 4 screws and that exposes the water heater and bypass valves.

HelloSusan....congrats on your new home away from home.
Consider attending the Northeast Crossroads rally, next May....also, the Mason Dixon bunch rally , net october.
For info, go to the "rally with crossroads" section.
The participants at both rally's are a nice people and will welcome you into the group.
