Well I tried to lower my dinette table with the system it has but I am not sure if it is a defect or what, I was not able to figure out how to do it, there is a lever that seemed not to be doing anything under the table and there then there is the mechanism...

I don't want to force it down, I am sure that there is an easy way of lowering it down, this is the super dinette table...

Anyone can help me with that thanks.

There is a small safety stop underneath. Rotate that little level 90 degrees so that it points downward.

Then push down in the middle of the table with most of your body weight.

Turn the lever under the table toward you. Then lift the legand push down on the table. You may have to push down near the wall where the spring assembly is but it will lower. To raise, just lift up on the table and lower the leg and move the safety lever in place.

Just to put your mind at ease...it does take a fair amount of downward pressure to push it down. I usually push near the wall. On the other hand, raising it up is really easy.

I really like this table set up mechanism. I have had several other types of tables and this is my favorite.
