How to quiet your TT water pump.

I've noticed our water pump on our 2017 SS254RB is rather loud, probably due to the fact that it is enclosed in a thin wood box next to our bed. Has anyone had experience with using an accumulator tank and insulation to deaden the sound?
Thanks.

I installed a tank but it didn't quiet the sound but it does cycle a bit less often. You can try and insulate pipes but most have bought a new, better quality pump. That seems to be the best option.

i unbolted the water pump and put 3/4 inch closed cell foam under the pump to include the mounting tabs. also got pipe insulation and put it over the water pipes wherever they came against the RV walls. there were a suprising amount of locations where the pipes were against the walls and would compound the noise of the pump. Also, ensure that there is about a foot of flexable hose coming from the pump before it gets to the rigid water lines.

Thanks Stan - a few other resources have said the same thing.

X2. Plus, I'm one of them that went to a better pump. Much quieter.

What kind of pump did you use?

I also went with a better pump, than the Artis piece of crap that leaked into my 3rd week owning the trailer. Went with a flow jet as I refused to take an Artis replacement A bit more pressure and quieter .
