Hello, I have an 07' Sunset Trail QB31 that I have only owned for the summer. I am getting ready to winterize but do not have the main manual, just a bunch of separate ones.
Can anyone give me the low down on how to winterize? I know it should only take 2 gallons and that I have to drain the water out, but am not sure on the particulars of using the antifreeze.
I have a bout 2 weeks before we are below freezing at nt.
Thanks!

Do a search as this has been hashed before. It's pretty easy. BTW, I use between 2 and 3 jugs. Better to have a bit extra, than short.

You should find a hose next to your pump to place in your antifreeze jug turn valve so pump will pull out of jug. Run antifreeze through all facuets and toilet. Don't forget to bypass and drain hot water tank frist.

Thanks, it sounds pretty easy. Is the hot water tank drained by opening the two drain plug underneath the tanks on the outside of the trailer?

the hot water heater drain is on the heater outside the trailer. it should be a nylon plug. drain that. turn your hot water heater bypas valves. this way no antifreeze goes in the hot water heater. then open your low point drains. under the trailer. drain your fresh water tank. at that point i use a air compressor to blow out the lines.(through the city water inlet). then i use antifreeze through the water pump winterizing valve. if you use air make sure to lower the air pressure on your compressor, and always have something open, then open something else than close what you previously had open.
