The camping season has officially started for us. We are spending Spring Break on the Oregon Coast and in the Redwood Forest. ( Livin' the dream)

We're into the third week of this season, most spent at the Anza Borrego State Park near Borrego Springs, CA. Came for the wildflower bloom and it has been well worth it. It's been in the low 80s while it's still snowing at home. Onward to Catalina State Park in Tucson.

It's great to be camping....Life is good!

P.S. Send Abita Amber, Frank...I've run out.

Think we'll be heading out of Arizona toward home sometime in May. Don't drink it all till I get there!

Looks like we'll be heading for the weekend!! We already had a two week jump of the season by heading south; hope this summer is dryer than the past two. Well, rain or not we didn't buy one of these things to set home all summer!!

We have been out 12 nights all so. But the lovely Janet has remodeling on her mind, I can not handle the dust so the pups and I will be moving out for two week in mid April. Anyone who wants to put up new cabinets wall board and wood flooring is welcome, Just let me know and I will reserve a spot at the Flying J

Earlier I mentioned we were in our third week out..actually it'll be four weeks tomorrow. Time flies when you're having fun. At Catalina State Park near Tucson. Wildflowers around the area are impressive..lots of poppies.

Frank...is that King's Bend in Montrose?

Russ it is in Montrose near the chief Ouray musem it is suppose to have Trees I am planing on arriving the 3rd of July and the ever so lovely Janet will fly in the 10th of July and leave the 17th. I will stay for another two to three weeks. I suppose if we had two or more show up we could have the first ever Western Crossroads rally. Oh yes for those who are dying to know the wonder pups will be traveling with me

Frank, I'm glad you are heading out west, but you know I had you on the roof list for July 5th.
Have a good and safe trip and have fun!

Loyd,
you have not said the year I take it it will be July 5 of 2011, That is when I reserved your spot at the Flying J Of course the other option is that you could go to Colorado at that time and we can have a whole bunch ready to be cleaned. After all Russ will have a lot miles on his SunSet trail and John over in the Grand Junction area will be just getting into the summer mode. If you work it right you could get the door prise for the one who went the farthest. A free Abita Amber, this will have to come out of Russ's six pack

Why not?? that would make you the long distance winner, and we would have to take Loyds beer away

Frank-

That's intriguing about a Western rally. Starts me thinking...but the Abita comes out of only my six pack? Not my case?
