I have my 2012 ST29SS at the dealer right now and asked them to check the slide operation. Last fall the last few times imoved it in and out it seemed like it was not working as smooth as it had during the summer.

Dealer said all they had to do was lubricate the tracks on both sides of the slide out. I thought I specifically read in the manual to NOT lubricate the tracks. Manuals are in the trailer and the trailer is still at the dealer so I have not been able to research.

Anyone no for sure whether you should or shouldn't lubricate the rails on the slide?

Thanks,
Rich

Go to Lipperts web site and see what they have to say about it. They make the components.

It was my understanding to not lube the tracks and gears, as dust and dirt will be attracted to it. I am sure that was in my manuals. Maybe they use a special dry lube like graphite?
