Can someone please tell me how to shut off the main water tank valve?
We just bought a used sunset trial 19' foot travel trailer and I went to fill up the water atnk and the drain is open. I can't find a shut off valve inside the trailer for it? I tried turning the valve underneath btu don't want to break it. The former owners say they never used the water tank only the supply line. Any ideas would be appreciated.

There isn't a valve on the fresh water tank drain. The drain line should be threaded so that a cap can be screwed on to it. You should be able to get a cap at an rv dealership, Lowe's or Home Depot. It should be a 1/2" cap.

On our ST20CK, the drain is on the underside of the trailer, right below the tank. Nearby you should also find the low point drains. The valve itself is a white cap on the end of the tubing. All should be turned hand tight.
