manual override for slide out 290QB

Knock on wood we have not needed it yet. I wanted to be prepared and looking for the manual override to hand crank if needed. I have been unable to find it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look in our Document section under systems. Open Lippert Master Manual.

Your answer is under Avove Floor Sofa slideout. There's a whole page on manually moving the slide.

That whole manual is great to have, so download and save it.

Jsd493, we took delivery of our 2016 290QB a couple months ago. During the PDI the tech told us the the wood plate at the top of the middle of the slide (kind of has decorative etching on it) can be removed. You can then use a drill with an attachment to manually bring the slide back in. But once the slide starts to come in you have to reach over the slide, so you'll need a step stool or small ladder. I haven't had to do it, but that's how it was described to us.

That is what we were told as well. I hope I never have to find out.

Try to open it with Acrobat reader since I believe it is a pdf file. (or use any other program that opens up pdf files)

Been on a hiatus from the forum. Tried again using Google PDF Viewer and still won't open.

Is there a reason you can't use Adobe Acrobat reader? That what I use and have no problems. Here is the website for the app or use your Play Store on your phone to get it, it's free. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...e.reader&hl=en

Ok I'm still unable to download the Schwintek Manual. It says its 7.13MB, but when I try to download it it only downloads 48KB of data and says "file not supported, not a PDF" when I try to open that. I have 3 types of file readers on my phone including Adobe. All other PDF files work fine, just not this file. I just want to have this file available on my phone in case I ever have an issue.

Can anyone copy the file in this thread so I can try it from here?
