Mouse proofing

We just picked up a 2017 Sunset Trail 250RB a few weeks ago and I have been inspecting and trying to seal up any critter access points I come across. Where the front cap wraps around the lower front of the trailer and meets the frame there is about a 3/8" gap across the whole width and you can see right up inside to the insulation. Are there any suggestions how to seal these areas or any other areas of concern that I should be looking for ? Thank's

There are a lot of rodent runways built into these campers.

Start by pulling all the lower drawers out of every cupboard/cabinet you have. also open all the lower cupboard/cabinet doors. Now look for all the holes they cut thru the floor. Also outside on the frame, there is holes there to. Cover them with black duck tape. Inside, you can use either steel wool, or if you are concerned about it rusting, I think you can get a copper type wool instead. Plug the big holes in the floor with that and finish sealing with spray foam.
Outside where you mentioned, I don't have an answer for that. I don't know what it looks like.

I have used the spray foam in the past and it works great. For some reason they do not chew threw it

what's the diff between this and the regular stuff? pretty packaging and increased price?

The pest block spray foam has a bitter agent added to it. I've used this on several trailers with good results.

I've never tasted the regular stuff. I wonder if it's sweet.

Check the area around the back bumper.

Not sure if you took off the cover on front frame where battery wires disappear in, there is a large hole that wasn't sealed on mine. Also check where main beams connect to rear bumper, small slit there. just slide on your back under every square inch of the trailer... and seal with duct, furnace tape or foam and steel wool.
