New Rig

Picked up the new rig yesterday (2015 ST28BH). Did a 2 hour walk through, and by the end I think the technician was a bit tired of my detail, but tough cookies.

Overall, the unit looks great. I'm extremely impressed with a number of the improvements that CR has made to the Sunset Trail line (compared to my previous 2012 ST26BH). Examples include:
- better low point drains
- moving the stabilizer jack switches inside the front storage compartment
- LED lighting on the awning
- no more Schwintek slide mechanism
- larger refrigerator
- better interior lighting
- improved TV antenna
- upgraded rims and tire size (now 15")

I feel that the "fit and finish" of the unit is much better this time around. I didn't see any quality issues through my entire inspection. Of course, time will tell how the unit performs longer term. Unfortunately, because it's still winter here, I couldn't test out any of the plumbing - that will come as soon as I don't see any -6C temperatures in the forecast!

I'm excited; first shake down trip this weekend.

A pair of rabbit ears sitting on the roof would be an improvement over the round dish they had for a while. It wasn't even concave so you could use it for something after you took it off.

So glad your post was positive. We should take delivery of the exact same trailer in the next week or two.

congradulations on your new trailer. You mentioned that the switches are now inside. Are they in a box of any kind or just flush with the wall? I am assuming both front and back switchs are there in one spot, correct?

Congrats! Hope you love it as much as we love ours! It's well appointed and very comfortable. We've found very little to complain about and are really getting great use out of it - 10th trip since August coming up in two weeks. (Florida is awesome for camping!)
