Anyone out there NOT have a heat register on floor of bathroom. I have an air conditioning vent on bathroom ceiling, but no heat register/vent on bathroom floor. When trying to heat trailer in cold weather, all rooms are toasty warm, with exception of bathroom.......UNLESS we leave the bathroom door open wide, in order to get heat to flow in from kitchen. I'm wondering if this was an oversight, or is this normal? Other Citation trailer we traded in for this Crossroads trailer DID have a vent in bathroom, and kept that room very nice & warm. Does the heat plenum go all the way through the underside of the bathroom, and would I/Dealer be able to tap into it to install a register in bathroom? Anyone else out there with this "missing" vent?

I'll check mine on Wendsday when I get back from a trip. There are two different bathroom arrangements on the 2012 25RB - on one the sink is against the sidewall with a big cabinet in the rear. The other has the sink on the back wall with a small cabinet on the sidewall. Don't know why - could be a mid-year product change. Could be why no heat duct. Mine has the sink on the side wall.

My ST25RB has small sink against the sidewall (to the right of corner shower) with a big cabinet in the rear (left of the shower). I really find it odd there is no heat register in there, because with door to bathroom closed, if we are doing any fall camping...could get quite chilly in there.....and I really don'twant to have to leave door open & view bathroom all the time. Thanks for the reply...I am really curious now to see if any otherCrossroads ownershave the same issue.

My 26bh has no heat register in the bathroom either. I wish it did.

It does have air-conditioning which I rerouted to the bunk area.

My 26BH is the same. A/C in the bathroom but no heat. Annoying as hell here in Calgary when we do more cold weather camping than warm weather camping. Bathroom is always cold. I wouldn't know where to even start to re-route one into the bathroom!

Sounds like an application for a small electric heater?

OK....sounds like Crossroads for some odd reason did not think to put a heat register in bathroom. I must check with dealer where I purchased it, or send crossroads an email and ask if the heating plenum under the floor continues through kitchen and into the bathroom...thus possibly only needing to cut a holethrough floor into plenum to install a register. About a month ago I actually received a call direct from Randy from Crossroads regarding another question I had submitted through email. Have heard lots of good things about him. Thanks folks for responding, if I get any answer regarding this heat register issue, I'll be sure to post it here.

Would cutting a 1 foot by 1 foot hole in the door and installing a vent with louvers allowing heat to come into the room help?

That is a very good idea, but I'd opt for cutting hole in floor first for floor register if the plenum is there. If plenum doesn't gothrough to bathroom thenI think that is probably what I'll end up doing. Must remove floor register in kitchen (which is about 8" from bathroom wall) and push a fish tape through plenum towards bathroom to see how far it goes.

"bath air or heat what is that?"..........Are you saying your last couple of trailers had neither heating or cooling vents in bathroom?

No heat ducts (or A/C) in our bathroom either. The wife doesn't spend much time in there on a chilly morning so the facilities are usually available when I need to use them

My '13 25rb has no heat in the bathroom , but 2 dealers had told me they did....they thought the 2 small round vents just above the toilet on the outside fridge wall were for heat. But turns out they are to ventilate the fridge when the big outside door is closed.

My 28RKX has heat and A/C in bathroom. Follow the vents (they are normally a straight shot) from the LR into the bedroom. It's a safe bet the plenum runs under the bathroom and if so you should be able to cut (or have one cut by your dealer) and a register put in. This to me is a design flaw for sure. IMHO

My Zinger does not have a register. You're correct, the bathroom is cold when its chilly out and its time to take a shower or go the bathroom.

Our 2010 ST20CK doesn't have either. But then it's not as big as many here own. We used it two weeks ago when the temps got down to nearly freezing and the bathroom was cold. The furnace is right next to the bath so I just plan to see if my dealer has a Y and run a short line to the bathroom. In summer, the air is on the ceiling and makes its way just fine into the bathroom.
