Outdoor Kitchen/Bumper Grill Lighting
Anyone have solutions for adding lighting to the outdoor kitchen and grill area? We have grilled in the dark with a flashlight several times now.
We have a 2016 Sunset Trail 290QB.
Thanks!

I hang lights from the door but also bought an inexpensive clip on light to point at the grill. Works ok.

Yes, have them in the rv closets that have no lighting. Last a long time, of course they aren't on a lot. But, as you know, led lights don't draw much.

You could pull 12 volt wire to that area and install LED strip lights.

I installed two of these inside the outside kitchen and they work great. Also put a bunch in the pantry.

I ran a string of outdoor LEDs around the opening of my kitchen. These 2 photos, the first without a flash and the second with a flash show the installation. In the 2nd photo (flash) you can see the switch I installed in the wall that separates the sink from the refrigerator.

Doesn't happen with mine-they turn on with motion in the darkness like magic!

Thanks! This will work great for us. How did you attach the lights? Staples? Tape?

I've got a post in the upgrades and modifications section. I think they are on page 3 now. Thread is ST30RK mods, or cont: st30 rk mods...
Maybe someone can share the link. I love how they turned out and how much light they put off.

That's the one, thanks Lloyd. I tapped into the CO2 sensor power. Lights and wiring kit from amazon for $30. They are magnetized to the door, so they pop right off when I close the door. The back one shines perfectly on the BBQ, the front one shines on the stove. I mounted the switch in the upper left corner above the sink faucet. Bright enough to see if your steak is medium, but not too bright to bother the neighbors.
Since I posted that, I did add another door latch on the left side of the door to support the weights of the lights.

They are self-stick. I just pulled off the paper and stuck them inside the opening.
