Been gone a while from Home & someone tripped the Bracker for our outside Trailer Elect service Box.
Bracker is over 100' away & inside Garage.
At any rate; Sunday 5-ish (17:00) parked SunSet & let others hook up trailer to set 3 weeks at home.
24 hours later went out to empty beverages from small curbside 'Fridge. Beverages still COLD but 3 "GatorAid" bottels in frezzer section were not completly frozen. Did some checking no Elect. in trailer.
Good News is little 'Fridge can keep adult beverages Cold for 24 hrs w/o power; , Cold not just cool!

That's always good news! I have been pretty impressed with the outside fridge.

I know that the compressor on mine always seems to be running. It cools good, but it doesn't shut off for very long.

I keep mine plugged in and use the outside fridge to keep beer cold. It keeps my drinks cold and have used it when the outside temps have been in middle 90's.Only seems to run when after I open the door. LOL I guess there are times my runs continuously too! I thinks it works good and beer is always cold.

I have a 33BD and can't store it at home. I can't store my trailer at home, so I can't plug it in very long before leaving on a trip. I would like to run it on an inverter to have cold beverages when we arrive at our destination. I tried a 400 watt inverter, but it was unable to keep it running. Has anyone got an inverter to run their refrigerator?

I think you will need more then 400 watts to run the fridg. Figure out how many amps/watts it's drawing when it's running, then double it for when it starts and you will be safe.

My dealer suggesteda 50 amp service with the o/side refrig. Claims all his 30 amp trlrs with that option kept tripping breaker. I called factory rep to see if they had a recall due to this problem & he advised no butthey had rerouted some of the other appliances on that circuit. Sounds like they didnt want to spend the $$'s on a recall. That change was made early 2013.
