Outside TV Mount Weight Limit

I have the Sunset Trail 250RB and can't find the weight limit for the outside TV mount. Does anyone know this?

30+ views and no replies probably indicates that no one is really sure. I know that information isn't in any of the manual I received with my unit.

That said, most televisions nowadays aren't overly heavy. I'm pretty sure anything less than 30 inches or so should be able to be installed on the outside mount.

The problem I'm having with the outdoor mount isn't weight. It's the clearance between the back of the television and the outside of the RV. We bought a 20 inch for outside and I'm having to install a lot of washers and much longer screws to give me the clearance needed for the cable and power cord connections on the back side of the television.

I use a JVC 32" with built in DVD player and have no issues. It was made to accommodate the inside TV if you wish.

Here's two earlier threads on the subject, scroll down for a picture of how I extended the mounting plate for cord clearance:

I had the same problem when I got to florida. Hung tv on side of trailer, no room for coax or power cord.
Drove to all the camper places, they acted like I was crazy. Went to a few tv places, no help. Ended up buying a handful of screws and washers from Ace Hardware for next to nothing and problem solved.

I believe in another thread a while back it was listed at 35 lbs. Basically for nothing bigger than the 32" LCD that they include.

I bought a 32" VIZIO E32C1 from WalMart for cheap. The coax and power cords don't protrude backwards. They are pointing down so clearance should not be a problem. The TV weighs about 11 pounds so I'm hoping the wall mount on the side of the RV will hold it.

If it's only 11 lbs then it certainly should hold it.
