Over Sink Light

We recently took our first trip in our TT and started the process of discovering what we like and dislike about the unit. One major dislike was the light fixture over the kitchen sink. The fixture is the stock double dome unit similar to this:
I had replaced the incandescaent bulbs with LED's but the way the fixture is built and placed meant much of the light shown out into your eyes instead of down on the work surface. Today I found LED puck lights at Lowe's which are described as "super bright" and they are. The single units which operate on 12V DC, are sold as add-ons to a three unit set which comes with a power supply and sell for $14.98 each. I bought two of the single units. They come with a plug attached, which I just cut of and will wire them through a toggle switch which I will mount separately. I did power one up off a 12V DC power supply and they are bright. They should do an excellent job of lighting the counter and sink area. I will post more after I actually make the install. As for the fixture I am removing, it will be destined for duty over the bathroom sink as the only light in the bathroom is behind you as you look into the mirror and really leaves much to be desired for anyone with eyes over 40ish! It looks as though I can fish a wire from the existing light to the new one so both work off of the wall switch.

What were the LED's replacement bulbs shaped like. Round or flat.

Yes those are the LED's I put in my fixtures. They do just plug in and they are not polarity dependent. Plug them in so the LED's face down. I will say to only hold on to the base while pushing as you could easily snap the circuit board right off of the base. I know this because I almost did!

If you have the round ceiling fixtures, yes. They do take three bulbs. Now I also have a wall sconce between my dining table and couch that also uses one 921 incandescent bulb, I put one of these in that fixture:
I actually bought that buld to use in my stove vent light as the 921 had burned a hole in the lens. That bulb did not fit well in the vent light, so I put one of the flat one it it and found the wall sconce to be a good place for the one shown above.

Thanks Mike. I plan to order 2 10 packs. If memory serves, that should be exactly enough to replace every bulb.

Two ten pack left me six short. I split a third pack with my son who has a pop-up. BTW Place order to delivery = 5 days. And No I do not have Amazon Prime.

So here are the results to my upgrades for which this thread was started. I did change the lights I used over the kitchen sink to these purchased from Superbrightlrds.com: Three watt round dome LED fixture. I used the hole where the original light was removed to mount a toggle switch for the new lights.

Then I used the pancake fixture I removed from the kitchen over the sink in the bathroom. I fished a pair of wires from the existing light fixture to supply the new fixture so both come on with the wall switch.

Major improvement in both cases.

LED'S have come a long ways in the last few years.
The first pic you have looks like it's in the bathroom. Is that two different lights?

Yes, I have different color temperature LED's in the two fixtures. I have cooler, more white, in the kitchen and I did not have any of the warmer LED's in hand when I finished the project.

I also added another light just in front of the mirror as the double in the middle always cast a shadow when using the mirror.

I had the same problem with the shadow. Mine had three bulbs that pointed out.
I found some LED bulbs that were right angled, and pointed down. I like that, they don't shine in my eyes. So far they have been working out good for us.
