I replaced my fan with a Heng fan. Bought it on eBay. Fit in the opening well and works much better. http//Vortex Replacement Vent Fan Upgrade - Heng's Industries 90043-CR - Vents - Camping World

also looking to know if the bedroom is prewired for the fan or if a wire would need to be run in order to power it?

May or may be prewired. If not wired it is not to hard to tag onto a 12 volt light feed to power it.

The Heng looks very efficient but they are out of stock at CW, but available at PPL Motor homes.

Take a look at Fantastic Fan before you buy Hengs...

If the bedroom is wired I would think it would be prewired for a air conditioner...

I agree that the fantastic is better. But the heng is a retrofit. No messing with the sealer on the roof. It is installed from the inside.

The Heng reduces the amount of light that comes in through the vent since it is a retrofit. One thing to consider.

That's a good thought, didn't think about that. Luckily mine has a shower skylight too so hope that's enough natural light. I'd definitely take the exhaust fan though over the daylight.
