Just took ownership of our new 2012 Sunset Trail 25 RB Reserve edition!!!!!
Getting a slide out awning installed but have to wait 2 week for the matching color. Also having them install 30 lb tanks and cover as well as vent covers so we can leave the vent open when travelling!!!!
Will be taking out on its maiden trip shortly after that!!
Cant wait!!!!!!!

Congrats on the new trailer. The vent covers are nice but in my experiencethey don't really help you with keeping vents open when travelling. We have max air and max air2 vents (1 of each) on our trailer and if the vents are accidentally left open, all kinds of dirt is sucked in. The vents do more in the way of preventing rain from coming in when we have them open at the campground. May your new trailer bring you many happy camping trips.

Congrats on new 25RB. We picked up our 25RBFebruary 10th 2012, and did our1st trip to Florida Feb 20th. It's a great trailer, you'll love having & using outdoor kitchen for sure! We did exactly as you... had matching colourslide awning & larger 30 pound propane tanks installed & ready for pickup date. Only complaint on slide awning is angle bit too shallow, so some water does pool up after a goodrainfall, but better it pools on awning than on slide top.....it'll eventually roll off. Other than that we love it. Ordered black vent covers from Camping world as well as larger bathroom replacement fan, which we'll pickup at Camping World in Myrtle Beach when we camp therefor 2 weeks end of July, camping along the ocean....can't wait! Been going there for last 20 years, this will be 1st trip in new Crossroads trailer. Have a great time on your "maiden trip"....happy trails!Edited by: Tonemeister

Congrats on the new trailer. We love our 25RB and you will too.
I also have the vent covers. On last trip I left them open during our drive down to the beach. That set off the CO alarm that was only able to turn off by disconnecting power - so I recommend buttoning up while traveling. Not sure you are gonna need 60 lbs of propane! When it's cold the fireplace makes it impossibly hot inside! Hope you use your outside kitchen - its da bomb, yo!

Hey everyone thanks for the tips on the vent covers.
I had them installed to keep the air flowing when the unit was not in use as well and it sounds like they will be great for that but I will button up when driving!

Congrats on your new trailer!! I added the vent covers and keep one of them open when we store the trailer so it doesn't get quite so hot inside, have had several heavy rainstorms and it has stayed completely dry inside. Great idea to have the 20lb tanks replaced with 30's, we have thought of doing the same. In the cold months of the camping season the extra propane can really help out if you aren't hooked up to power and have to rely on your furnace for heat.
