Picked up a ST 30RE few weeks ago. Found a remote that is supposed to run jack, stabilizers, slide, awning, and porch light. Can't find "receiver board" as mentioned in the instructions. Can anyone help? Also, has anyone had nightmare experiences with these remotes ( things operating when they shouldn't?).

I have a 2013 29SS ans have not had a problem with unintentional operation. On my unit, the control board for the remote is located under the bottom drawer below the refrigerator. All you have to do is remove this bottom drawer and it is installed on the floor of the trailer. I hope this helps.

On our unit the receiver/controller is in the front storage compartment by the battery box.

On our 31bh the control box is under the fridge drawer and there should be a book or directions for programming on the remote or the box itself. If I remember right you had to hold down a button for a yellow light to come on or flash and the remote learns from the control box. That is the best I can do from memory.

If you have the fob like we have here is the link for the manual:

This link shows all models of transmitters and fobs:

Have not had any issues with ours - had to change the battery once - takes a lithium battery.
