Remote stabilizer, slide, porch light, so how do you get the remote to work?

Just bought a sunset trail 30re. The tech lower the stabilizers by remote.
I got home and can't get it to much but have a ie light blink then stay on.....
What am I doing wrong?

I wonder if the remote might be dead. Ours has a charge port on the bottom.

Doesn't seem to be but I will check.
To operate we just turn on (Blue light flashes, then stays solid blue) then push button, right?
Thank you for your input.

My experience with remote is that it works best when you point it towards wherever Lippert main circuit board for the remote is located. Also works best for me when i stand close on outside of RV & point remote towards that circuit board. My circuit board is located under bottom large kitchen drawer just below fridge. Your RV location may be different. So when I want to use my remote I stand close to fridge vent on outside of trailer. You may want to familiarize yourself as to its location. There are fuses there that can "pop" on occasion. (one fuse for front stabilizer, one for rear, one fuse for each slide, etc.)
I also carry at least one spare battery for that remote. - Just my 2 cents worth.

Thanks! So nothing to "turn on" to get it to work? I have tried next to bottom of fridge and stove. Maybe battery is too weak so I will try that

Once you "turn on" the remote, the blue light should remain on. With the blue "power on" light then on, you next need to push the button for whichever apparatus you are trying to operate. That light should then light up & turn red (my remote)....next press the "triangular" buttons "extend" or "retract". I've noticed on my remote if battery is weak, when I try to operate say front stabilizer, when I press "extend" all remote lights turn off. That's the time I replace battery. I've had best results with duracell batteries. Hope this helps...Good Luck.

Ok. Mine does light up blue and still nothing when I push the buttons. I push and hold. Still does not work. I have it in storage but will have it out in couple of weeks. Thanks again to everyone who responded.

After turning on the remote and blue light showing....after pressing any of the round buttons, the one you press should turn red & remain red until you either select another button or turn entire remote off. Red light may be dim especially if you have remote outside under bright light. Verify that the red light does come on and stay on first before next operating by pressing the extend/retract button. If no red light comes on, possibly remote lost it's programming.

I've included a picture of my remote (just to make sure info I'm giving you is for same remote & not a different one). If all else fails, call your dealer, or Lippert directly. I have spoken to Lippert (remote control manufacturer) in past on a different issue, & they were very helpful.
