Is it okay to walk on the roof to clean and inspect for a 2016 Sunset Trail 270BH? I don't want to fall thru and have major issues...LOL. This questioned may have come up a time or two but was a little lazy to look thru all the Forums.
From what I understand, if you don't have a ladder attached to your trailer, then you should not walk on your roof. Apparently the way to do roof service is to use a couple of boards to spread your weight around. Others may add to this.

Crossroads recommends not walking the roof and using a piece of plywood to lay across the spans to do any work on any roof. The ultralite roofs are not made to be walked.

Like others have stated. It is not a walkable roof. However you can and I have walked on the roof to do maintenance. Stay on the trusses or span them with plywood. They are easy to see, just watch your step and you will be fine.
