Roof Issue?

I am not sure if this is normal or the beginning of a catastrophe. It is in front of the vent cover. It is a slight ridge almost like where two pieces were not properly connected. This is right near the front.

I have the same rig as you do. I have something similar though not quite as pronounced as it is in your photos. I can feel the two pieces moving under the roof covering.
I keep a roll of eternabond handy just in case and I try not to worry about it.
Curious if anyone else has this too.

By the looks of it, I would hazard a guess that the joint isn't stapled/screwed down to the rafter. Like maybe they missed the rafter with their fasteners, or worse yet, forgot to staple that seam.
You might want to contact your dealer and or CR to see what they recommend.

I am having a similar issue. Out near the edge I have something sticking up pushing the material. I am hoping that it's not a rivet or something that will pop a hole when the weight of the snow comes.

Kinda looks like debris that was left on the roof when they laid the membrane down.

I originally contacted CR and they immediately told me to contact Alpha. Did not seem right but I contacted Alpha. They responded with some questions that I answered and am awaiting another reply. I am recontacting CR.

Roof Issue

Brenda and I had to return our Lincoln to the factory in October because our Alpha Ply roof separated. The only reason I mention it is because from the comment that the Crossroads Representative had you contact Alpha yet the Crossroads factory installed the Alpha Ply roof on our unit. They were responsible for the preparation of the roof and the installation. It appears from the pictures of each of the roofs that the problem is not with the material but with the installation process. The service techs installed a Dicor roof the 2nd time instead of the original Alpha Ply roof because of the difficulty of getting a proper installation with the Alpha Ply.

If any of the units have warranty remaining a trip might be a good thing.

The problem didn't become evident until recently. I don't mind somethings but this is part of their production and had it been correct there would be no issue. I really have been very happy with the TT until now.

Roof Issue

I understand. Since Brenda and I have returned from the Warranty Service Department, Our coach is pretty much perfect. It is a pleasure to look at and live in.

The response so far from CR has been it is normal. I thought that was kind of a weak response. Does anyone else have this? I would assume you do since it is normal. I asked for a picture of a similar roof before they lay the rubber roof on so I can see for myself. They sent me the brochure. A drawing is useless for this purpose.

You should contact CrossRoads immediately while it is still under warranty. This could not be a good thing and will probably get worse. Good luck.

Unfortunately we are 6 months out of the warranty period. Will have to keep an eye on it and maybe have someone from CR look at it at the factory rally.

Check your documents as roofs have 12 year warranty. Call CrossRoadsRV.

I'll think you'll find that it's the Membrane integrity that has a 12 year warranty, NOT the floor underneath. CR only does the installation. There's the Rub. That's why they want you to inspect the entire roof yearly, I do it every 6 Months.

Obviously, something that CR installed has become loose and caused these bumps. They need to know.

My guess would be---CR didn't clean all the debris off the roof before the membrane went down on it.

I think that it's a nail or something similar popping up. Others on the forum have complained about this and it turned out to be popped nails. It involved peeling the roof off from the side rails, taking out the nails and replacing with screws.

I've seen a similar issue on an RV by another builder. It was due to hardware such as wood or sheet metal screws being left under the membrane. Unless it is repaired, it will develop a hole in the membrane.

Why CR isn't taking responsibility for this doesn't make sense. IIMO, this is an installation error that can affect the integrity of the roof. It seems pretty obvious that this situation isn't something created by the owner.

My suggestion is to contact Customer Service and provide the CSR with the photos. Have your VIN ready when you call.

It likely can be repaired by the dealer or by a mobile service tech who is approved by CR.

Roof Gap

I feel a 1/2" gap that runs partial way across the roof. Has anyone else had this issue? I can feel it with my finger. The gloves show where it ends on the other side. It feels like the roof sheeting was not flush or cut irregulary
