I have a 2012 ST28FL Reserve, I was cleaning it up and conditioning the slide seals and dry lubing the the slide rails, and I noticed that almost all the screws holding the slide rails were loose!! I tightened them up and found 3 were broken and were only held in by the caulk. Has anyone else had this problem? We haven't even used the unit may 10 times since we have bought it. Can anyone recommend a conditioner for the slide seals? I use one from camping world but its expensive.

Thanks!!
Andrea

I had broken screws and bolts all over, They over torque them at the factory, a few I have had to drill out and then replace. There are alot of threads on this forum about lubricating the slide seals, Silicon spray seems to be the favorite.

Most people use baby powder for the seals. Take in back under warranty and have the screws replaced.

If you want to treat the seals to keep them soft and pliable I use 303 Protectant as it has UV protection. If you just want to keep them from sticking then the baby powder dusted on in an old sock will work. You can also use silicon spray just make sure you find some without any petroleum distillates in it.
