Sealants
I just did a pretty good check of all the calking and it need a lot of love for a 9 month old trailer. The roof need a lot of love and know it uses alpha 1015 that I don't see for sale anywhere. Not to worried about that. I've read that dicor works just fine (ill check with the dealer)
There seams to be quite a bit of 100% silicone sealant on it also. Some of it is clear and some color matched or painted. For example front cap to sides and lights to walls. Is this correct?
There is also a black sealant around trim to trim connections and around the bubble seal on the side outs. I'm guessing this is butyl caulking.
The last one is a glue. On the side out sweep weather stripping the corners where glued together on the top (top is glued to side strip) and a couple have failed. What glue should I use?
Also I'm reading in the manual that none of this is warranty work. Am I reading this correct?

Within 9 months that should still be covered under warranty. Talk to your dealer if you have a good relationship. If not close, call Crossroads directly and they should be able to point you in the right direction to somebody nearby.

X2 what was said above. Even if this is not warranty work, CR would be able to tell you what to use where. When we were on the factory tour, they pointed out the various sealants used throughout.

I found a lot of the same issues during my PDI. The dealer fixed them before I picked it up and let me have the extra tubes of roof sealant. If you are having trouble finding the Alpha sealant. Dicor now makes both the self leveling and the non sagging lap sealant in tan.

Be sure to check the manufacturers directions for any sealant used on EDPM as I had a dealer recommend a non-sag Dicor to me which was not to be used with EDPM.

Compatible with EPDM and TPO sheeting, it adheres firmly to aluminum, mortar, wood, vinyl, galvanized metal, fiberglass and concrete. Ideally suited for aftermarket use.

We recently purchased a new 2014 Sunset Trail 33BD and are having major issues with leaking!!! We also know of two others that bought brand new Sunset Trails last year that also leaked on the slide outs. Is there ever any kind of recall on the campers? I'm new to this and have no clue how to contact anyone or post any questions. Thanks

Misty Rene, your ST is under warranty.
Did you contact your dealer for repairing the problem. Hopefully you have a good dealer and it has a good repair shop that can fix this for you. Don't wait long, water can do a lot of damage in a short period of time.
You could call Crossroads warranty department yourself.
and, you can post any question here for help.

Just a few places to help with your question about Recalls.
To provide better service in alerting the American people to unsafe, hazardous or defective products, six federal agencies with vastly different jurisdictions have joined together to create www.recalls.gov -- a "one stop shop" for U.S. Government recalls.
