Sleeper Sofa

Does anyone know if this is how these sleeper sofas are supposed to work? I cannot get the head end down and the middle legs do not touch the floor!

If that is the position they intended that sleeper to be in, then they must have designed it for somebody with a hiatal hernia.

Seriously tho, I can't believe that can be right.

I remember reading somewhere that they had changed something, and that it made the soft legs not hit the floor when opening and that they had a fix for it, ask your dealer, it may have been on this forum someplace, I know that I opened mine a 2013 to make sure it worked ok and it did.

Well, they say never make your guest bedrooms TOO comfortable so they will not want to move in

Try putting levelers under the foot end.

Well take it back is not an option. I bought the TT used from a private individual. 99% of the time it will not matter has it will only by the wife and myself, plus dog and sometimes cat. We are taking two of our grand-kids camping this week-end and the remedy will be be air mattress on the floor. Queen size air mattress fits well between sofa and chairs and is actually larger than the sofa mattress. I was just wondering if this was normal or if there is a problem. I only knew any other sleepers sofas we have owned worked way better than this one. BTW the prices for "RV" furniture are ridiculous!

I have heard that, about prices of RV furniture. If weight is not an issue, measure the space and perhaps some "non RV" furniture would do the job. I know people who have done that.

We sleep one grandchild on the couch just remove the back cushions and put the sheets etc on it, works great as does not take up any floor room and the other sleeps in the dinette folded down. They love it. 8 and 9 year olds

You could send a picture to CR and ask them the question. Won't cost you anything to ask. Try calling Lynn Duggins at Crossroads. 260-593-3850 email lduggins@crossroadsrv.com

We hated this style in our old camper.... Glad the new one has the Tri-Fold King sleeper sofa. The wife would not even consider a camper if it had that style or the air mattress in it. That was a deal breaker for her.
